All our team, from the administration team to the installers, to the sales team, have continued to learn and be educated on all things renewable! In our fast-moving industry, we always do our utmost to stay ahead of the curve and lead the pack when it comes to innovation and industry knowledge.
Our sales team are constantly out in the field, supporting all our valuable customers during the entire process, through survey and design, to installation and aftercare.
Yes, we have been MCS accredited since 2009. Our member certification number is EPP-54089
We can send you an invoice via email with a link to our online payment terminal for card payments.
Yes! if you arranged an appointment, we could make sure an advisor is available to talk through your project ideas and show you some of the technology we have on display.
UK Alternative Energy Ltd is based in Lincoln and our office is at Westminster Industrial Estate, Lincoln LN6 3QY.
As a general guide, we install our services within an approx. 1.5-hour drive from our office.
For larger commercial installations, we can usually assist beyond this distance, so please do get in touch if you are looking at a commercial installation outside of our usual area.
No, we don’t currently.
We do however provide service and maintenance to our valuable customers, including service reminders.
We take aftercare and maintenance very seriously as we believe it is crucial to extend the life of a renewable system, so we do all we can to support you and your system to the best of our ability.
Unfortunately, no, we don’t.
We work from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Outside of normal office hours, we have a voicemail facility which is monitored daily, so if you have an issue, please leave a message, and we will action your request at the beginning of the following working day.
No, our adviser will attend a survey free of charge.
After they have discussed your project and taken all the details they need, they will return to our office and send you a quotation via email, so no pressure sales techniques.
It is mandatory for all MCS certified Installers to be registered with a Trading Standards Institute (TSI) Consumer Code.
These Codes are there to ensure consumer protection and our membership of the RECC, means that we must go above and beyond minimum consumer law obligations. It provides an extra level of protection for you if something goes wrong with your installation.
Our RECC membership number is 00034680.
If you are interested in generating your own energy, it is important to use an MCS certified Installer so that the technology you choose is specified, installed and maintained correctly.
MCS is a mark of quality. Using an MCS certified installer ensures that equipment meets good standards of performance and that installers are technically safe and competent.
MCS certified Installers have undergone a rigorous vetting process to demonstrate that they adhere to our Standards. These Standards demonstrate a commitment to quality. They will also be a member of a Consumer Code which means strengthened customer protection for you. If your technology is eligible for a government incentive, you will need to be able to provide MCS certification to claim this.
