A successful barn conversion in Bingham, where we were the chosen Renewable Energy specialists from the early stages of planning through to installation.
Our client wanted to incorporate energy technologies to improve the efficiency of the property and lower the costs of living. Following our designs and proposals it was agreed that we would install a 3.92kW solar PV system, consisting of 14 panels to be mounted in-roof flush with the pantiles for a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. We also installed the under floor heating system which was to be run by an air source heat pump as well as an MyEnergi’s Eddi hot water controller that diverts surplus generated electricity from the solar panels to the immersion in the cylinder (basically providing free hot water).
